Personality

Meyneth is usually a quite pleasant person. She will meet anyone initially with kindness and friendliness, and is usually the sunshine of any group (the sun is still a star). Her years of being stuck in a situation that she hated, added on to her free-loving nature, also means that she doesn't take any shit. If anyone is being rude, stupid, cartoonishly evil, or just needs a reality check, she will be the one to whack the guilty party over the head and set them straight (that classic Night Elf fury has to go somewhere).
As is pretty much required for a druid, Meyneth loves nature. She especially finds beauty in the stars and sky. She is completely content to walk and lay in the grass by herself, but is always very grateful if someone decides to join her. She'd never force it on someone, and is very respectful of the wishes of others, unless said wishes involve harm.
Oppression is her greatest enemy. She hates to be forced to do anything she doesn't want to, and this extends to others as well; Meyneth will stand up for them if they aren't doing what they love.

Story

Her parents were Extremely traditional, her mother being a member of the Sisters of Elune, and due to this, she was raised and pressured to join the Priesthood herself. Her fascination with the moon was essentially used against her in this aspect, being constantly turned into a sign Elune is speaking to her directly, but in reality she never cared for any of the politics or even the serving aspect that comes with the position. She would often try to escape her duties to simply experience and feel nature, not attaching any sort of religious duty to it.
Meyneth has only relatively recently been able to pursue her dreams, becoming a druid shortly after the Third War.

Rejects any kind of tradition she was expected to go through. She has no marking, and prefers not to be called by any kind of title.
Starshimmer is most likely not her original last name.

She is named after Meyneth from Xenoblade Chronicles. There's not really much connection between the two other than like, skin color, I guess. But I love that game, and thought the name fit well for a Night Elf.
