Personality
Dorian is completely consumed by guilt and self-blame. He puts his people's extinction on his own shoulders, and is always emotionally and spiritually exhausted by the pressure of his responsibility.
He is serious to the point of overcompensation, as he thinks he's had his fun in life at the cost of his people, so he can't allow himself to have it anymore. He dedicates his life to his purpose, and refuses anything else.
When he was younger, Dorian was essentially the opposite of his present day self. He was cocky, restless, and selfish. He didn't really care about the Pelagoi's duties, or any of this stupid history nonsense. He wanted to go out into the world, go surfing, flirt with girls, fight monsters, and basically do anything that wasn't being a fishy priest.
Story
Dorian is one of the Pelagoi; caretakers and worshippers of the 6 Sea Aspects. He was born into the followers of Aegir, the Coelacanth, who represented memory and stories.
Dorian left his people at 18, bored with all the tradition and religion. After exploring to his heart's desire, finding work and fun in other places. Eventually, he returns home, only to discover it in ruins, and his people all killed. Guilt overtakes him, and in penance for not being there for them, he takes it upon himself to take over their responsibilities- the same ones he didn't appreciate enough in his youth.
He goes to the city of Grand Meridian searching for a relic of Tiamat, which will start his true pilgrimage to reignite the spark of the Pelagoi and himself, inevitably ending in a fight for the world.
Taller, scruffy beard, wears dark blue armor (made of a sea metal, lightweight yet tough) on top of a wetsuit, and a green messy cloak. Maroon slicked back hair, and flecks of salt all over his face. Wields a coral spear with a crustacean claw blade.
